Europe offers many possibilities for young people, and others, to work, to study, and train in another European Union country. Mobility has been at the center of European politics for years, and there is substantial funding to promote student and work exchanges and experiences abroad. The European Union presents itself to citizens as one space, without borders, where one can move along easily and freely without the bureaucratic difficulties of the past.

Some of the elements to consider when moving from one EU country to another are:
academic and professional recognition of qualifications and titles, equal treatment with host country citizens, and access to health insurance in the host country.
