Since 2007 the Europe Documentation Centre of the Legislative Assembly has taken part in the Direct Europe information network of the European Commission, adopting the name of “Antenna Europe Direct of the Legislative Assembly of Emilia-Romagna Region”.

Our objectives are as follows:
* To allow citizens to obtain information, advice, assistance and answers to questions about the institutions, laws, politics, programs and the possibilities of funding within the European Union;
* To actively promote, at a local and regional level, the public discourse and media interest in the European Union and its politics;
* To collaborate with schools and society in order to make citizens aware of the topics of citizenship and European unification;
* To allow European institutions to improve the diffusion of local and regional-specific information;
* To offer citizens the possibility to communicate with European institutions, through questions, opinions and suggestions.
Antenna provides its services for free.
All citizens of Emilia Romagna who need to deepen their knowledge of topics regarding the European Union, or who want information about normative production, law, or statistics of the European institutions, can get in touch with Antenna in order to obtain information and documentation.
Antenna also develops its mission through a communicative project which provides for the dissemination of information through newsletters and publications, and the creation of a network in the regional area in order to make European institutions and their work known.
Local institutions, scholastic institutions and regional associations can contact Antenna in order to ask for help and support organizing initiatives, carrying out projects, and to find useful contacts for their activities, in the interest of developing and opening our territory to the rest of Europe.
