Progetto Demetrae : le nuove occupazioni per le donne in agricoltura
DEMETRAE GenDer GuidancE to enhance and support woMEn choices in the AgriculTuRAl fiEld: pathways and tools for Education and Vocational system è un progetto co-finanziato dal programma europeo Transfer of Innovation, Multilateral Projects, Leonardo da Vinci - Lifelong Learning Programme (2007-2013).
Puntare alla realizzazione della parità uomo-donna sul lavoro allargando a livello europeo un progetto italiano di successo scegliendo come ambito lavorativo quello agricolo. Da qui parte il progetto europeo Demetrae, co-finanziato dal Lifelong Learning Programme dell’Unione Europea.
Demetrae si pone gli obiettivi di superare la sottorappresentatività femminile negli organismi decisionali e nelle posizioni di vertice del settore agricolo e di superare le barriere che le ragazze incontrano nell’istruzione e nella formazione a indirizzo agrario, già analizzati con il progetto Agronoma. Questo progetto è diretto a insegnanti, formatori e operatori dell’orientamento nonché a studenti e soggetti in inserimento e reinserimento nel mondo del lavoro come ex diplomate con esame di abilitazione per accesso alla professione.

Nel corso di tutto il progetto il Centro Europe Direct Emilia Romagna, che ha presso l’istituto Serpieri un’antenna informativa, fornirà materiali di documentazione ed un sostegno nell’attività di comunicazione e disseminazione.

The European project Demetrae, which is part of the Lifelong Learning Programme of the European Union, aims to overcome the under-representation of women in decision-making bodies and in top positions in the agricultural sector and pull down the barriers of gender equality that the girls encounter in education and training to address agricultural related jobs.
Demetrae, which will start on December 16th in Bologna at Serpieri High School which is the cxoordinating institution, is directed at teachers, trainers and practitioners as well as guidance experts dealing with insertion and reinsertion into work of students and former employees.
The Demetrae project will be also disseminated at natrional level thanks to the network of schools associated with the partner consortium Confao. The other Italian partners are the College of Agricultural and Agrarian Surveyors of Bologna and Rome – and CORA (Retravailler Associated Centres), while abroad, there is the Federation of agricultural cooperatives of Murcia for Spain, the Employers ' Association of women entrepreneurs in the municipality of Bucharest (EABWSMEsMB) for Romania, DDRP-Dobele District Rural Partnership for Latvia and Hungarian SEED-Small Enterprise Economic Development Foundation in Budapest.
The project working progress will be supported by the Europe Direct Center of Assemblea Legislativa of the Region Emilia Romagna, since Serpieri Agricoltural high school hosts a Europe Direct centre for Education and environmental research.
